EIP-8141 is a comprehensive account abstraction proposal centered on "Frame Transactions." These bundled call sequences can independently authorize transaction senders and gas payers, allowing paymaster contracts to settle fees in any token through onchain DEX logic. The proposal also covers quantum-resistant and multisig validation, ZK-SNARK paymasters for privacy, 2D nonces for parallel transaction processing, and a controlled mempool rollout. Discussions are ongoing regarding EOA compatibility, which could enable batch operations and gas sponsorship for existing accounts. EIP-8141, the culmination of over a decade of research, might be implemented within a year via the Hegota fork.
