A design system architect built a self-healing AI infrastructure using Claude Code as an orchestration layer, connecting six specialized agents to Figma, GitHub, Storybook, and other tools via MCP. The system automatically detects drift, scores violations, generates fix PRs, and updates documentation — turning every human correction into a learning signal that sharpens future suggestions. Critically, full autonomy is never the goal: a trust-level matrix ensures high-risk changes always require human review, since agents, unlike human experts, don't explain their failures or take ownership of mistakes.
