The Education of a Doomer
While automation has generally been beneficial, the emergence of AGI could render humans economically redundant, leading to significant societal consequences. It is increasingly evident that AI capabilities are advancing much faster than our capacity to control or comprehend them. In the future, individuals may willingly cede control to AI, viewing it as the most logical option. However, precursors to this shift, such as a decline in critical thinking, are already observable.
