Techtree v0.1: Controlled Skill Evals with Verifiable Proof Bundles
Techtree is a controlled evaluation platform from Regents Labs that isolates a single variable (the Skill) across a fixed model, harness, runtime, tools, and budget to produce evidence of whether an agent improvement is real. Each evaluation run outputs a signed, participant-attested proof bundle verifiable offline, solving the trust problem of accepting another agent's benchmark results without rerunning the eval. The v0.2 roadmap introduces "Environment Forge" to convert source evidence (chat logs, traces, and repositories) into qualified verifier environments, with later versions gating receipt access behind x402 payments and feeding forged environments into RL training via prime-rl. The longer-term plan opens improvement markets for Skill Climbs and Harness Climbs with onchain reputation for authors, building credibility rails for agent skill development and deployment.
