Tailscale expands from VPN into a full connectivity platform
Tailscale announced a broader connectivity platform at its Tailscale Up conference, extending its identity-based networking beyond VPN access into DNS filtering, privileged access management, AI agent controls, browser-based access, open-source networking, and developer APIs. Aperture, its AI gateway, reached general availability with guardrails, logging, model access, and integrations for provisioning and connecting to tailnet nodes.
