Sierra and Meta Unveil Personal Agent Protocol for AI
Sierra and Meta have collaborated to introduce the Personal Agent Protocol (PAP), a proposed open standard that enables personal AI agents to securely connect with business websites, APIs, and AI services. PAP, which relies on OAuth, Model Context Protocol, and Client ID Metadata Document components, aims to substitute traditional password entry with scoped, delegated access tokens and structured session management.
