Reflection releases Beam, an open 501B parameter AI model
Reflection has introduced Beam, its initial open-weight model, available under an Apache 2.0 license. Beam is a large, sparse Mixture-of-Experts model with 501 billion parameters, optimized for sophisticated coding, reasoning, and agentic tasks. The company also launched an open agent operating system with over 40 partners and the Mirror CLI harness.
