Prime Intellect Rebuilds Agent Harness in Rust for Speed
Prime Intellect has completely rebuilt its Prime Agent harness using Rust, achieving substantial performance improvements. The new version is about 14 times faster in terms of time-to-input and uses over 80% less memory than the previous TypeScript version. This rewrite, managed by an autonomous agent swarm, also adds native Windows support, improved session isolation, and a modular structure composed of nine crates.
