OpenCode Now Supports DigitalOcean Inference Router for Intelligent Model Routing
DigitalOcean has launched its Inference Router in Public Preview, integrating with OpenCode (a popular AI coding agent) to intelligently route requests to the most cost-effective AI model for each task. This aims to resolve the "massive spending problem" of AI coding agents, where trivial tasks often consume expensive premium model tokens. The router provides an OpenAI-compatible API that automatically optimizes for latency, cost, and output quality.
