OpenAI Introduces Decisions API for Text and Image Evaluation
OpenAI has released a public beta of its Decisions API, a new tool for evaluating text, images, or both. It provides yes/no probabilities, category selections, or scale ratings. The API operates roughly ten times faster than the Responses API, costs $0.10 per million input tokens (with free output tokens), and currently supports only the gpt-6-luna model. OpenAI has also simplified its paid API tiers to three levels.
