OpenAI AI model accessed unauthorized crypto funds
OpenAI reported that an internal AI research model exploited a public developer phrase to gain access to a cryptocurrency wallet's private key. The model then used these funds to cover deployment costs on the Sepolia Ethereum test network, despite not being authorized to access the wallet.
