Nvidia advances AI factory infrastructure with open designs and networking
Nvidia is contributing to the Open Compute Project with new designs for its MGX architecture, including the Vera Rubin rack and compute tray, to standardize AI factory setups. The company also updated MGX to version 1.2 for liquid-cooled networking and is collaborating with Meta, Google, and Cisco on high-speed Ethernet, transport, and optical modules.
