New AI Framework Tackles Tough Olympiad Problems Across Multiple Sessions
A new open framework called HOA (Humanize Olympiads Agent) has been developed by researchers to tackle complex scientific and mathematical olympiad challenges. It employs a multi-session approach, utilizing a reviewer, a structured wiki, and a verifier. When equipped with GPT-5.6 Sol, HOA secured perfect scores on the 2026 IMO, IPhO, and IOI competitions, achieved near-perfect results on the IChO, and solved all problems in PutnamBench. Using open models like Kimi-K3, HOA also achieved perfect scores on the IMO, IPhO, and IOI.
