Natura-1: Foundation Model for Dexterous Robot Hand Control
Nature Will has unveiled Natura-1, a foundation model with 50 billion parameters utilizing a mixture-of-experts architecture. Trained on one million hours of human egocentric video, it is designed to control 20-degree-of-freedom dexterous robot hands. The model combines vision and language capabilities, enabling it to execute zero-shot instructions and complex physical tasks within a 100-millisecond control loop. Tests on dual-arm robotic hardware show Natura-1 can generalize to new tasks, handle soft materials, and adjust to environmental changes.
