Mistral unveils 'Le Chonk,' a 1T parameter model preview
Mistral has released a public preview of Mistral Large 4, a multimodal model with one trillion parameters, internally codenamed "Le Chonk," featuring 49 billion active parameters. This model, trained on 4,000 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs, is intended for applications in coding, cybersecurity, finance, manufacturing, and visual understanding. Mistral plans to offer the model weights under a custom license on October 27, following a three-week evaluation period.
