Mistral AI unveils early access to its open-weight multimodal AI model
Mistral AI has launched a public preview of Mistral Large 4, a multimodal AI model with open weights, featuring 1 trillion total parameters and 49 billion active parameters. Developed in Europe using 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs, the model demonstrates top-tier capabilities in cybersecurity, automated coding, task execution, and multimodal processing among open-source alternatives.
