Microsoft to deploy large-scale next-gen Azure AI accelerator racks
Microsoft announced plans for extensive deployment of its new Azure Maia AI accelerator racks, which in a full 96-accelerator configuration are expected to provide up to seven times the rack-scale token throughput of the Maia 200. Additionally, these systems are projected to deliver 40 percent more tokens per megawatt compared to leading GPU-based solutions.
