Ledger probes $86M+ crypto drain tied to CryptoBilis sales
Ledger is investigating reports of over $86 million in cryptocurrency losses affecting Southeast Asian users who bought hardware wallets from reseller CryptoBilis. The company has instructed CryptoBilis to halt sales and advised recent buyers not to set up their devices or to move their assets to a new signing device. Security researchers suspect a supply chain attack may have led to compromised or tampered hardware.
