Lean 4.35.0 includes verified kernels and sandboxed checks
The Lean proof assistant project has released version 4.35.0, featuring four new alternative kernels and a sandboxed lake check command for verifying projects against multiple kernels. Notable additions include con-leche, the first Lean kernel written in Lean with proven consistency, and con-ron, a Rust implementation of con-con. The Lean FRO team is also focusing on simplifying kernels, developing binary export formats, and enabling incremental checking for large-scale projects.
