Laya Decision Model Tested on Pharma Surveillance Tasks
The author evaluated Laya, an open-source decision model from ConvAI Innovations, under stress conditions with pharmaceutical-related tasks, including email sorting, global post-market surveillance, document categorization, and a fine-tuning exercise. The results showed that the model operates swiftly and improves significantly after twenty minutes of group-relative policy gradient fine-tuning, but its outputs and confidence levels are sensitive to prompt wording, requiring adjusted temperatures and careful human supervision.
