Contra has launched Contra Payments, a commission-free platform helping over 1.2M creatives — who've already earned $200M — get paid through invoices, payment links, digital products, and structured projects. The platform replaced its flat $29 contract fee with a scaled fee model based on transaction size, with Pro and Max membership tiers reducing or eliminating client-facing platform fees. Contra acts as the merchant of record for digital product sales, handling tax collection and disputes, while payout fees vary by processor and destination country.
