Hackers Breach DHS Information-Sharing Network
An unidentified threat actor accessed the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), a system for communicating with federal, state, local, and industry partners. While HSIN only handles unclassified data, it contains sensitive information critical for operational management, event coordination, and mission-critical information sharing. The DHS confirmed that no classified systems were compromised.
