Google's AI Detection Tool Now Available Globally
Google is making its AI-generated content detection service, SynthID Detector, accessible worldwide in English. This expansion is a collaboration with OpenAI, NVIDIA, Kakao, and Apple. The tool enables users to identify images, videos, or audio produced by AI from Google or its partners. Google reports that SynthID has already been employed to watermark more than 180 billion images and videos, and 240,000 years of audio, while processing 1 million verification requests daily.
