Google and Constellation Forge Nuclear Power Deal for PJM Grid
Google and Constellation Energy have finalized a 20-year agreement to introduce 890 megawatts of new nuclear power to the PJM Interconnection grid by upgrading 11 Constellation nuclear facilities. Additionally, Constellation has secured a 15-year deal for 2,700 megawatts from the PJM fleet and partnered with Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise to utilize AI for optimizing grid operations and accelerating power delivery.
