Fanatics buys regulated exchange to expand prediction markets business
Fanatics agreed to acquire BGC Group's federally regulated exchange and clearinghouse, giving it direct control over listing and settling prediction-market contracts. The deal strengthens Fanatics' ability to compete with Kalshi, Polymarket, Robinhood, and DraftKings by combining regulated market infrastructure with its large sports audience and existing presence across 23 states.
