Evolver, an open-source AI agent self-evolution engine initially released in February, is transitioning to a source-available license after another project allegedly copied its memory and skill architecture without attribution. The protocol-based tool generates evolution prompts for AI agents rather than directly patching code, and can connect to the EvoMap network for shared intelligence features while maintaining full offline functionality.
