LocaliQ's 2026 benchmarks show that display ad CTRs remain low, ranging from 0.12% for Restaurants & Food to 0.40% for Education & Instruction, while CPCs range from $1.65 to $5.58 across industries. On the USA TODAY Network, high-impact ads averaged 62% viewability and a 0.26% CTR, while video ads averaged 71% viewability, a 0.09% CTR, and a 67% completion rate. Native ads performed better on clicks, averaging a 0.28% CTR and 70% viewability. The data comes from 7,074 LocaliQ display campaigns and 55,798 USA TODAY Network campaigns.
