Department Stores and Online Retailers Exposed in AI ChatBot Logs and Audio Recordings Data Leak
Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler uncovered three unprotected public databases, containing 3.7 million chat logs, audio recordings, and text transcripts of phone calls from 2024 to 2026. All files were linked to Sears Home Services. Following the researcher's request, public access was removed, and his findings were forwarded to the AI chatbot manager.
