DeepSeek Secures Major Funding From Tencent and CATL
Chinese artificial intelligence research firm DeepSeek is close to finalizing a funding round worth at least 80 billion yuan, approximately $12 billion, as reported by Bloomberg News. Major investors Tencent and CATL are spearheading this round, which may expand to nearly 100 billion yuan given the strong interest after the release of DeepSeek's newest model.
