Executable scrut test blocks can live directly inside Git commit messages, turning a written validation plan into something that can be rerun automatically. Combined with git test, the approach can revalidate entire patch stacks after rebases, bisect the first broken commit, and preserve ad-hoc or differential test procedures alongside the change itself.
