Cloudflare enables programmable web security and DLP
Cloudflare has launched a public beta for its programmable secure web gateway and data loss prevention (DLP) platform. This new system embeds Cloudflare Workers directly into the edge routing and policy enforcement process. New features include a Forward action for modifying proxy traffic and custom validation functions that allow for real-time evaluation based on custom business rules without needing separate proxy infrastructure, enabling tasks like header modification, webhook alerts, and credential checks on Cloudflare's network.
