Chrome's Manifest V2 to V3 transition, expected to finish with version 150 (rumored June 30), caps extensions at 30,000 filtering rules and strips out dynamic content blocking, gutting advanced ad blockers and security tools like uBlock Origin and NoScript and weakening protection against browser-delivered threats such as ClickFix malware.
