China Considers Export Controls on 40 Advanced Technologies
China's Ministry of Commerce has proposed adding 40 technologies, including those in AI, biotech, and solar energy, to its export control list. This move, which includes AI models, intelligent agents, and computing clusters, comes amid rising geopolitical tensions with the US. A public comment period for the proposed changes will run until November 15, with interim pre-export registration measures also being implemented.
