Broker Alpaca raises $435M and explores prime brokerage expansion
Alpaca raised $135 million in equity and $300 million in debt to expand its brokerage infrastructure across tokenization, agentic trading, crypto access, and global securities markets. The company also plans to move further upmarket into prime brokerage services for institutions, hedge funds, and market makers, building on its regulated US broker-dealer and recent international acquisitions.
