Bank of America uses contractors to fix AI-exposed software issues
Bank of America engaged 1,000 contract workers in the second quarter to address software vulnerabilities revealed by sophisticated AI systems, including Anthropic's Mythos, according to CEO Brian Moynihan. The financial institution allocated several hundred million dollars for software repairs and anti-money laundering compliance during the third quarter. Moynihan indicated that these remediation expenses are anticipated to decrease as the process progresses.
