Apple announces Apple Intelligence-powered accessibility feature updates
Apple has announced several new AI-powered accessibility features coming later this year. Updates include improved VoiceOver image recognition, natural-language voice commands for navigating apps, AI-generated subtitles for videos without captions, and a redesigned Reader that can better handle complex documents like scientific papers while preserving accessibility settings. Apple also revealed that Vision Pro users will be able to control compatible wheelchairs with their eyes through partnerships with Tolt and LUCI.
