Anthropic reimagines Claude in Slack as nosy, always-on agentic AI coworker
Anthropic is retiring its existing Claude in Slack connector in favor of an always-on, agentic Slack coworker called Claude Tag. Claude Tag can join Slack organizations as a shared team member, learn from channel context and permitted data sources, and be delegated tasks via @Claude, with options like ambient updates and scheduled multi-hour or multi-day work.
