AMD MI455X shows significant AI inference gains over MI355X
At the Advancing AI 2026 conference, AMD presented performance figures comparing its upcoming MI455X accelerator with the existing MI355X. According to the company, a single MI455X GPU offers up to 34 times greater token throughput than the MI355X for highly interactive online serving of DeepSeek-V4-Flash, attributed to enhancements in its compute, memory bandwidth, and networking infrastructure.
