AI Agents Decompile FPS Game After Processing Over 500 Billion Tokens
In an engineering trial, AI agents processed more than 500 billion tokens to fully reverse-engineer a first-person shooter into C++. While the agents managed to create a functional game, initial versions contained errors in meaning due to inadequate subjective review processes that missed structural differences. The researchers resolved this issue by introducing a verification tool that ensured exact byte-for-byte matches, allowing less powerful AI models to consistently generate accurate code.
