A FUSE Server for an In-House Storage Backend
Jane Street built an OCaml-native, read-only FUSE server that exposes its Depot object store through a POSIX filesystem interface. Parallel reads and zero-copy buffer handling raised large-file throughput from about 30 MiB/s to 1.3 GiB/s.
